Born in Punjab, Siddharth has a Diploma in painting from the Government College of Art ,Chandigarh .He learned fresco and Madhubani painting and Kashmiri Papier Mache from master Craftsmen ;Tibetan Thangka painting from Tibetan monks in Dharamsala , Himachal Pradesh ;and glass-blowing technique in Orrefors ,Sweden.
he has attended art workshops in Australia , India ,Malaysia , Japan , turkey ,UK ,Sweden ,Italy ,Russia and the USA.
his work is held in the Chandigarh Lalit kala academy and Government Museum and Art gallery ,Chandigarh ;National Gallery of Modern Art ,New Delhi ;British Council ,New Delhi ;the residences of the Mexican and Swedish Ambassadors ,New Delhi ;and Museum Kunstpalast ,Dusseldorf ,Germany.
He has been artist in residence in the UK ; and the Bharat Bhavan ,Bhopal ;and three times at Chandigarh Lalit Kala Academy.
He has also participated more than 100 national and international group shows between 1976-2010.
He has been also participated 21 solo shows in India and other countries including UK ,the USA ,Sweden and South Africa.
