Shah Was Born In 1940 In Kathmandu , Nepal. He Is Popularly Known As The Horse Painter.
His Art Education Was Accomplished At Sir JJ School Of Arts ,Mumbai Where He Completed His Diploma In 1967 . He Went On To Do A Special Course ON Murals There. His Love For Murals Also Took Him TO Rajasthan Where He Trained For A Short While At The Banasthali Vidyapith. In 1970 He Did A Special Course In Graphics At Triveni Kala Sangam, New Delhi.
Shah Has Participated In over 50 Shows In Nepal ,India , Japan ,Bangladesh , South Korea ,And Australia. His Special Participation Include The 2nd Triennale At New Delhi-1971,Nepali Painting Exhibition ,At The Orient Art Museum Moscow-1992,And The Asian Art Show At Fukuoka Art Museum-1985
