Seema Sharma Shah

Seema Was Born In 1966 In Varanasi ,India.
She Is A Gold Medalist From Banaras Hindu University , Where She Completed Her Entire Art Education : BFA -Painting In 1988, Masters In Printmaking In 1990 And Finally Her PHD In Printmaking In 1998.Her Tremendous Exposure To His Great Institution Attacked Her To A Career In Teaching Art ,And She Currently Is A Lecturer At The Fine Arts Campus , Tribhuvan University In Kathmandu.
Seema Has Widely Travelled Alongside Her Artist Spouse, Uma Shankar And They Have Exhibited Widely In Several Countries Throughout The Globe. She Is Recognised As One Of The Most Significant Printmakers In South East Asia . Seema Has Also Been A Part Of A Womens Artist Group Called “Double Vission” With Whom She Has Exhibited In Scotland And Netherlands.
She Has Also Been Awarded Many Fellowships And Scholarship From Various Departments Of The Government Of India.
